AHEAD is on the hunt for an innovative and enthusiastic Senior Elixir Developer to enhance our cutting-edge team. As a distinguished managed service provider, our commitment to excellence is evident not only in our services but in the technology we use and develop. Our Hatch platform has already revolutionized the supply, delivery, and lifecycle management of IT assets and services. Now, we're looking to expand the possibilities even further.
In this pivotal role, you'll tackle a myriad of challenges as you build and optimize our full stack services, which power Hatch. You'll be immersed in Elixir, crafting scalable, maintainable, and efficient code. While Elixir will be your primary language, our integrated systems mean you might occasionally dive into other technologies or collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration and operation.
Your expertise in Elixir, together with your understanding of other backend languages, will be vital. Just as we're looking to innovate in the world of IT lifecycle management, we're also hoping to bring modern practices and concepts to our software development, and your insights and experiences will be invaluable.
Responsibilities
Design and develop working software solutions for internal and public web applications
Lead and own a product feature from design to delivery
Participate in the design of large, complex solutions
Help drive the future roadmap of the software team and AHEAD
Participate in code reviews and mentoring of junior staff
Qualifications
Proficiency in Elixir and Phoenix
Experience with Phoenix LiveView
Experience with other various backend languages and databases
Strong understanding and passion for software design, architecture, and usability
Good testing practices and experience
Experience with build tooling, continuous integration, and containerization
Active participation in regular code reviews
Clear and direct communication skills
Some experience with single page application frameworks such as React or Angular
Comfortable working closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Driven to keep learning and stay updated with the latest in development trends

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
