Job Role: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid - 3 days from office)

JFrog seeks a highly-skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will drive best practices, optimize operational workflows, and mentor junior SRE engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about building and integrating services and systems that ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of JFrog SaaS environments. You will lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives working closely with P&E engineering and Cloud teams to design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure while championing best practices for automation, monitoring, and incident response.

What You'll Own:

• Champion and enhance improvements across reliability, scalability, performance, observability for JFrog SaaS services along with the engineering verticals.
• Implementing reliability-focused practices including designing and implementing Service Level Objectives, conducting failure analyses, planning for load and capacity, executing new service reviews, tech debt design re-architectures , developing chaos engineering strategies & perform disaster recovery protocols
• Leading and mentoring the team in developing technical solutions leveraging deep knowledge of cutting-edge technologies such as Cloud, Kubernetes, Helm, Observability tools and Terraform.
• Designing, building and enhancing internal SRE services & tools and automating to streamline the maintenance of our SaaS services bringing in efficiency and optimisations 
• Participate in the on-call rotation, providing expertise and support during critical system incidents and ensuring timely resolution.Leading post-mortem analyses while promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Serving as a key point of contact for SaaS production application issues collaborating closely with engineering groups.
• Assessing and evaluating new cloud-native technologies, vendor solutions to enhance our SaaS offerings & lifecycle management.

Who you are:

• 5+ years of relevant  SRE or DevOps experience in large-scale production environments
• 2+ years of infrastructure automation, configuration management, or container orchestration using Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
• 2+ years of Python/Go programming language experience
• Strong ability to lead, design, and execute cross-organization projects
• Experience in managing container and infrastructure orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Hands-on experience at least administering one of public clouds (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with building CI/CD pipelines for applications and microservices (Jenkins/ArgoCD)
• Experience with chaos, alerting & observability tools (Gremlin, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, New Relic, Coralogix)
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
