We are seeking an experienced Senior SharePoint Developer-Contractor who will be responsible for building and maintaining custom solutions on O365/SharePoint Online using the Microsoft “stack” (SharePoint Framework, Azure, and C#). This individual collaborates extensively with other developers and architects, as well as experienced project managers, user experience specialists, visual designers, analysts, and client resources to build enterprise systems that improve collaboration, and business productivity, and support business operations. The Senior Developer will also be expected to own the detailed design and delivery of certain aspects of the solution and mentor junior teammates. Candidates must have a strong background in building beautiful, scalable, maintainable, high-quality, and high-performing web applications.
Responsibilities
- Create rich web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and TypeScript/JavaScript (specifically jQuery and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular).
- Experience with web application development frameworks and tools like React, Redux, Express, Web pack etc.
- Oversee unit and system testing, focused on features.
- Create, facilitate, and monitor results of acceptance testing procedures.
- Create and facilitate performance and load testing procedures and issue remediation.
- Transition projects to ongoing support/maintenance teams.
- Be able to perform custom deployments using PnP and/or PowerShell.
- SharePoint 2016 on-premises experience. C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PowerShell. Hands-on development experience with SharePoint web parts for on-premises. Knowledge
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint WSP deployments. SQL server experience (backup dbs, backup tables, sql queries).
- Work with network teams. Integration with payment portal providers (Cybersource, Bectran) (not required, but helpful).
