Senior Service Technician - Matamata

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Service Technician who knows their diesel gear inside out. You’ll be the go-to person for keeping a wide range of heavy machinery running, from diesel engines to hydraulics and electrical systems.

If you take pride in top-quality work, love getting stuck into tricky problems, and can mentor younger techs along the way, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Be Doing;

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical and system faults using diagnostic tools.
• Leading by example, coaching apprentices and junior team members.
• Keeping customers happy with reliable, honest service.

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (or heaps of relevant experience).
• Solid hands-on experience with heavy machinery and diesel engines.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Valid Class 1 driver’s licence (Class 2/WTR/F endorsements are a bonus).
• Practical, can-do attitude and the ability to work solo or as part of a team.
