The role ⚡

📍 London (Hybrid) | 🤝 2 days in the office | 💰 Competitive Salary + Benefits

You’ll make a real difference for our customers and your team from day one. We believe the fastest way to grow is by doing, so we give you the ownership to run with things and see real-time results.

• Build, manage, and mentor a team of Security Engineers with a focus on security operations, threat hunting and risk management

• Drive company and project goals, prioritise resources, and ensure timely delivery. You’ll implement effective security processes, technology, and policies for sustained growth

• Represent Funding Circle Security and management at industry events, and help grow our brand within the community

• Forge deep bonds with your business counterparts, understanding their needs and sharing ownership of their outcomes

• Be generous with your time and expertise to teach stakeholders and fellow Circlers how to answer their own questions

What we’re looking for 🌱

• Extensive experience with a modern security stack, including hands-on experience of SIEM & SOAR technologies, EDR & CASB solutions. This has to be within a fast paced security operations environment, that's provided a thorough understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework, NIST CSF, ISO27k and PCI and their correct application to businesses

• You will be confident working with both technical and business stakeholders to translate security needs to business needs, taking a pragmatic approach to security and risk. This will also include the assisting / leading 3rd party security audits & due diligence

• Professional experience in attack surface management, security threat hunting and incident response whilst implementing security awareness programs across a business

• Proficient technical security understanding of Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP or Azure as well as data engineering tools and concepts and the following tooling platforms - CSPM, CIEM & DSPM

• Direct experience of vendor risk management
