We are builders, we never run from a challenge, we are customer-centric, and if this sounds like you, we know you will thrive in our team. About Us & The Role We are building the backbone of a modern, disruptive security organization. We believe that to stay ahead of adversaries, we must move faster, scale smarter, and leverage technology that others are afraid to touch. This is a newly created area within the CISO’s office: The Security Platforms, AI, and Automation team. We are not looking for theoretical researchers; we are looking for practical builders. You won't just be maintaining tools; you will be building the "Central Nervous System" of our security department. You will be the force multiplier that connects our data, automates our workflows, and empowers every other team—from Cyber Defense to GRC—to operate at 100x scale. Your mission starts with solid engineering: building the "glue" that connects our diverse security stack into a unified, measurable ecosystem. Once that foundation is set, you will leverage AI agents and modern protocols to take those automations to the next level. What You’ll Do:
  • Build the "Glue" & Integration Layer (Priority #1): Engineer the integration layer that connects our diverse security stack (SIEM, Cloud, IAM, AppSec, GRC). You will design the API connectors and data pipelines that allow disparate tools to speak one common language.
  • Hyper-Automate Operations: Take ownership of our automation strategy. You will work directly with security engineers to turn manual, repetitive processes into instant, resilient, one-click workflows using modern automation platforms (e.g., Tines, Torq) or scripting (e.g., Python).
  • Master Security Data & Metrics: You will be the architect of our "Security Truth." You will build the systems that collect, normalize, and visualize data to track the health, efficacy, and ROI of our program. You turn raw logs into actionable KPIs that prove our speed and coverage.
  • Lead the AI Acceleration: Once the pipes are built, you will design and deploy custom AI agents and use the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to supercharge our workflows. You will build the infrastructure where AI agents assist with operational loads, freeing humans to focus on creative engineering.
  • Engineer Reusable Building Blocks: Create modular functions and self-service workflows that other security teams can use. You aren't just fishing for them; you are building better fishing rods.
  • Be the Cross-Domain Enabler: Act as the technical bridge. You will dive into challenges across Cyber Defense, Cloud Security, and Risk Management to understand their pain points and engineer the automated solutions that solve them.
  • What You Bring:
  • Hands-on Security Engineering Experience: You have "lived and breathed" security. Whether in a SOC, Incident Response, or Security Engineering role, you have used these tools day-to-day. You understand the pain of manual work and the context of security alerts.
  • The "Builder" Mindset: You are a problem solver who builds solutions. You don't need to be a software developer by trade, but you must be comfortable stiching things together—whether via code, low-code platforms, or API integrations—to create value quickly.
  • Data & Metrics Fluency: You understand that data is the lifeblood of automation. You know how to structure data, query it, and visualize it to tell a story. You can distinguish between a vanity metric and a real KPI.
  • Automation & Orchestration Skills: You have experience connecting systems. You are comfortable working with REST APIs, handling JSON, and building logic flows (Loops, If/Else) in SOAR platforms or scripts.
  • Platform Stewardship: You understand that tools need to be healthy to be useful. You have a mindset of ownership over the platforms you build, ensuring they are reliable, monitored, and scalable.
  • Problem-Solving at Scale: You don't solve for "one time," you solve for "every time." You are obsessed with efficiency and 100x scalability.
  • Autonomous Ownership & Grit: You take end-to-end ownership of fuzzy problems. You are proactive and resilient. You have the judgment to raise your hand immediately for clarification when you hit a dead end, but you generally find a way through.
  • Nice to Have:
  • AI & LLM Fluency: Experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or frameworks (LangChain, MCP). If you don't have this yet, you must be eager to learn it fast.
  • Experience with specific tools like Tines, Splunk, Snowflake, or Python is a plus (but adaptable builders are preferred over tool-specific specialists).
  • Familiarity with Data Engineering concepts.
  • How You’ll Work
  • You will be part of a team that acts as the "Special Forces" of engineering within the security organization. You will move fast, iterate constantly, and have the freedom to choose the best tools for the job. This is not an advisory role—this is a hands-on engineering role where you ship workflows, integrate data, and change the way security is done.
