We are seeking a Senior SecOps Engineer to lead security operations for critical cloud infrastructure, applications, and services in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. This role will have a direct impact on protecting sensitive data, ensuring system integrity, and driving secure practices across operations teams. You will identify vulnerabilities, implement security tools, and guide cross-functional teams on best practices. Accountabilities:

  • Protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud infrastructure, applications, and data.
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities across platforms and services.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, application owners, and internal teams to implement security controls and provide guidance.
  • Develop and execute application security test plans, penetration tests, and internal audits.
  • Manage security projects, including remediation efforts, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives.
  • Research, recommend, and implement security tools, techniques, and standards to improve overall SecOps capabilities.
  • Maintain documentation, metrics, and reports to support security audits and ongoing monitoring efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field (completed or in progress).
  • Proven experience as a Blue Team member with strong cloud security expertise.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon AWS and cloud security practices.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and methodologies, such as PTES, OSSTM, OWASP, and NIST CSF.
  • Ability to review and implement internal processes, manage security projects, and guide teams on best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced English proficiency and excellent communication skills.

  • Experience with Kubernetes security and deployments.
  • Familiarity with security governance and incident response processes.
  • Experience designing and implementing security automation tools.
