Senior SDET (Remote - India)

In this role, you will drive the development of advanced automated testing frameworks to ensure quality, reliability, and high performance across complex backend services and mobile applications. You will play a key part in accelerating delivery cycles by designing robust test suites and integrating automation into every stage of the software lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to product quality strategy, enhance continuous integration pipelines, and support large-scale testing initiatives across multiple markets. This is a hands-on leadership role suited for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and improving engineering processes in a dynamic environment.

Accountabilities

·         Develop and enhance automated test suites to ensure comprehensive coverage across microservices and system components.

·         Integrate automated testing into the regression, release, and continuous delivery process to improve speed and reliability.

·         Build tools enabling seamless integration tests involving third-party services such as payment rails, messaging systems, KYC solutions, and analytics platforms.

·         Support release cycles by identifying issues early and communicating them effectively to product teams.

·         Collaborate with squad leads and stakeholders to plan automation strategies and rollout initiatives.

·         Partner with product, data, credit, and business development teams to identify automation opportunities that strengthen product quality.

·         Maintain and evolve existing frameworks, proposing improvements to tools, methodologies, and processes.

·         Continuously explore new technologies and help the team optimize testing frameworks and automation practices.

Requirements

·         Minimum 7 years of experience building testing tools and frameworks using Groovy, Kotlin, Java, Scala, or similar languages, along with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.

·         Strong hands-on experience working with Linux or MacOS environments to test backend or frontend services.

·         Familiarity with BDD methodologies and frameworks such as Spock, JBehave, or Cucumber.

·         Solid understanding of microservices architecture and automated testing strategies for distributed systems.

·         Experience working within Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.

·         Proficiency with Git-based version control systems including GitHub or GitLab.

·         Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
