Job Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to design and implement automated testing solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery. The role involves building test frameworks, improving CI/CD pipelines, mentoring QA engineers, and collaborating closely with developers and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
- Write automated tests for API, UI, integration, and performance testing.
- Implement automation using languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Test Strategy & Planning
- Define testing strategies for new features.
- Ensure high test coverage across applications.
- Identify test scenarios, edge cases, and failure points.
- CI/CD Integration
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Enable continuous testing in build pipelines.
- Automation Tools
- Develop automation using tools such as:
- Selenium
- Appium
- Rest Assured
- TestNG
- Performance & Reliability Testing
- Create performance tests using tools like Apache JMeter.
- Monitor system performance and identify bottlenecks.
- Code Reviews & Best Practices
- Review test automation code.
- Promote best practices for maintainable and reliable tests.
- Collaboration
- Work with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
- Mentorship
- Mentor junior QA and SDET engineers.
- Guide teams on automation strategy and quality engineering practices.
- Strong coding skills in Java / Python / JavaScript
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- Data structures and algorithms basics
- UI automation frameworks
- API testing
- Mobile testing
- Selenium

- Docker
- 4–8 years of experience in automation testing or SDET roles
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services
- Experience with performance testing and monitoring(Nice to have).
