Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across complex, multi-team environments within the Financial Services domain. This role will focus on enabling high-performing teams, driving SAFe practices, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful execution of product and technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Scrum Master support for 1–3 Agile teams operating in high-complexity, dependency-heavy environments
  • Facilitate all Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and Program Increment (PI) Planning
  • Lead PI Planning sessions and support teams in successfully delivering PI objectives
  • Partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog prioritization and solution refinement aligned to business goals
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and impediments, including defining impact, ownership, mitigation plans, and resolution timelines
  • Manage and coordinate cross-team dependencies, ensuring alignment and minimizing delivery risks across multiple Agile teams
  • Facilitate executive stakeholder readouts, providing clear updates, insights, and delivery transparency
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and Agile coaching, fostering a culture of adaptability and learning
  • Oversee Scrum and Kanban workflows, optimizing team processes and delivery efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to Change and Release management standards
  • Coordinate and prioritize resolution of production defects, incidents, and problem records to minimize business impact

Required Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience working in large-scale, multi-team enterprise Agile environments
  • 7-8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, preferably at a senior level
  • Strong expertise in Scrum and Kanban frameworks, with working knowledge of SAFe principles
  • Proven experience managing risks, issues, and cross-team dependencies in complex environments
  • Experience facilitating PI Planning and presenting to executive stakeholders
  • Background in Financial Services, Banking, Wealth Management, or Asset Management
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build collaborative relationships

Required Certifications & Tools
  • SAFe Scrum Master certification or equivalent Agile certification (CSM, PSM, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or similar platforms
