Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest ever health research programme, bringing people together to develop new ways to detect, prevent, and treat diseases. Diseases like cancer, dementia, diabetes, and heart disease affect the lives of many people in our communities. Our goal is to create a world-leading resource for health research, to improve our understanding and spot the patterns of how and why common diseases start, so treatments can begin sooner and be more effective.
We are hiring a Senior Scientist to support the development of new questionnaires on a range of health research topics. This is a key role which will enable us to significantly enhance the research value of the Our Future Health programme.
You will provide the expertise to design and develop these questionnaires, assess their validity, and support on scientific aspects of their implementation. As part of the Science team, you will also provide scientific support to other cross-functional teams within Our Future Health. If you are looking for a new challenge working in an agile, tech-enabled health research organisation, we’d like to see your application.

Benefits
Our Future Health will be the UK’s largest-ever health research programme, designed to help people live healthier lives for longer through the discovery and testing of more effective approaches to prevention, earlier detection and treatment of diseases. We will invite 5 million people to take part and provide information about their health and lifestyles to create an incredibly detailed picture that represents the whole of the UK. By acting together on this scale, we can help researchers identify the key health, genetic and environmental triggers for diseases earlier, in order to treat them sooner and dramatically improve patient outcomes.
