We are seeking a Senior SAR Platform Engineer to strengthen our team. You’ll design, maintain, and scale distributed SAR processing platforms across cloud (AWS/Kubernetes) and on-prem environments. The role requires strong technical depth, practical problem-solving, and effective collaboration across domains.

  • Build and support distributed SAR data pipelines, platform services and CLI tools
  • Manage deployments with Terraform, AWS, and Kubernetes
  • Debug issues across multiple services and environments
  • Write efficient code in Golang, Python, SQL, and Shell
  • Use AI tools effectively to reduce repetitive tasks
  • Support internal teams (engineers, operations) on a daily basis
  • Collaborate with peers and share well-considered opinions

Requirements

What will you need to be successful in this role?

  • Able to prioritize business goals over less impactful technical explorations
  • Strong skills in Golang, Python, SQL, Shell scripting
  • Experience with Terraform, Helm, AWS, Github Actions and Kubernetes
  • Proven ability in debugging and operating distributed systems
  • Experience working with both API-driven and event-driven architectures in distributed systems
  • Comfortable working with both cloud and on-prem setups
  • Pragmatic, collaborative, and supportive team player
  • Nice to have: experience with Argo Workflows, understanding of React.js/Next.js (general working knowledge)
