Senior SAP Consultant MM Pur

We are looking for a Senior SAP Consultant in the area of Material Management Purchasing (MM - PUR) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, implementing, and rolling out the future S/4HANA template in an international company.

Tasks: 

• Consulting our internal customers within the challenging and complex transformation project targeting the implementation of a global S/4HANA template.

• Driving the implementation of new solutions in close cooperation with internal and external partners.

• Developing and independently deciding on IT concepts within the framework of a defined IT strategy.

• Being responsible for the further development and operation of our applications as a specialist for MM - PUR. • Taking overall ownership for the area of responsibility, you supervise.

• Ensuring seamless integration of SAP MM Purchasing with other SAP modules and complex & global non-SAP applications.

• Being the main contact person in your area of responsibility for other process areas to ensure consistent, integrated end-to-end processes.

• Advising our internal customers (e.g., manufacturing functions) worldwide and across hierarchies on processes and functions within IT.

• Taking on the role of (sub-) project manager in projects.

Your Profile:

• Degree in business administration, (business) informatics, or comparable disciplines.

• Several years of relevant professional experience in SAP consulting.

• Profound knowledge in solution development with integrated SAP and nonSAP applications, as well as in the assessment and integration of several subsystems.

• Very good process and implementation knowledge in the SAP modules MM - PUR, as well as experience in cross-module influences and implementations.

• Preferably experience in the special purpose machinery manufacturing industry.

• Experience with both SAP ECC and S/4HANA.

• Effective communication skills to interact with both business users and IT teams.

• Strong analytical skills to assess business needs and propose SAP solutions.

• Confidence, ability to work in an international team, flexibility, and assertiveness are part of your way of working.

• Ability to work independently in alignment with the major stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Very good written and spoken English/Spanish skills complete your profile. 

• Willingness to travel (~10- 30%).
