This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior SAP Commerce Developer - REMOTE. In this role, you will be instrumental in the digital transformation journey, focusing on enhancing platforms, complex integrations, and scalable architecture for omnichannel retail environments. We seek a hands-on individual with architectural vision and a strong ability to operate in high-stakes, high-volume environments. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of our partner's initiatives in the retail sector.
Accountabilities
Develop and enhance functionalities on the SAP Commerce Cloud platform
Work on the core layer (extensions, facades, services, DAOs, interceptors)
Build and evolve integrations with external systems (OMS, ERP, payments, etc.)
Customize checkout flows, cart, pricing, and promotions
Participate in architectural decisions and solution design
Support the evolutionary maintenance and performance improvement
Work with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
Assist in technical refinements and delivery planning
Requirements
Solid experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris)
Development in Java
Experience with creating and maintaining extensions
Customization of Impex
Knowledge of Backoffice and HMC
Experience with Data Model
Solr configuration (search & indexing)
Experience with OCC APIs
Experience with microservices architecture
Experience with REST and/or SOAP integrations
Familiarity with architectural patterns (Clean Architecture, Hexagonal, DDD is a plus)
Experience with API versioning
