As a Senior Salesforce Software Engineer:

You will play a key technical role on our Business Systems Team. You’ll operate with a high degree of autonomy and serve as a trusted technical owner for Salesforce across the organization. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building reliable, scalable systems that connect Salesforce to the rest of our ecosystem, directly enabling business goals and growth.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Austin, TX

Job Responsbiilites:

  • Design, build, and evolve Salesforce automation (Flows, validation rules, process automation) with an emphasis on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

  • Own and lead the transition from Gearset to GitHub Actions and SFDX-Hardis, improving CI/CD, automation, and source-driven development practices.

  • Extend Salesforce thoughtfully, building custom Apex and Lightning Web Components where appropriate and leveraging native platform capabilities whenever possible.

  • Write clean, maintainable Apex, LWCs, and Flows, setting a high bar for code quality and adherence to Salesforce best practices.

  • Identify systemic bottlenecks, enforce data quality standards, and improve performance and runtime efficiency across the platform.

  • Partner closely with Engineering, Data, and Operations to design cohesive, reliable workflows across systems.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to translate business needs into durable, scalable Salesforce solutions—guiding stakeholders toward sound technical decisions.

What we’re looking for:

  • You can step into a complex Salesforce environment and quickly understand existing architecture, data models, and automation, with minimal ramp-up or hand-holding.

  • Strong experience designing and maintaining integrations (REST APIs, JSON, Platform Events), including debugging issues across systems and making informed trade-offs.

  • A builder mindset with a track record of improving systems over time, not just shipping features—proactive, collaborative, and comfortable identifying what should be built next.

  • You prioritize impact and delivery, exercising sound technical judgment when balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.

  • You routinely decide when to leverage off-the-shelf Salesforce functionality and when a custom solution is warranted, and can clearly explain those decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
