(Senior) Salesforce Developer (f/m/x)

We're seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer who is passionate about clean code, software craftsmanship, and building scalable distributed systems on the Salesforce platform. At Enpal, you'll be part of a team that values engineering excellence and treats Salesforce as a serious development platform, not just a configuration tool.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions that solve complex business problems
• Champion software quality practices including code reviews, pair programming, and automated testing
• Collaborate with product teams to design technical architectures that enable business agility
• Mentor other developers in software engineering best practices
• Drive technical decisions that balance quality, speed, and business value
• Build reusable components and libraries that enable faster, more reliable development

Technical Excellence We're Looking For

• Deep understanding of software engineering principles: Design Patterns, Clean Architecture, DDD concepts
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale applications with complex business logic
• Strong foundation in API design and event-driven architecture
• Expertise in LWC, integrations, flows, and Apex/ECMA, offering hands-on technical support
• Proven track record of improving system performance and scalability
• Proven track record of implementing maintainable, testable business logic in Apex
• Experience with continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment strategies
• Creating maintainable test frameworks and achieving high test coverage
• Optimizing database operations and handling bulk data processing scenarios
• Experience with declarative-to-programmatic migration strategies, particularly Flow-to-Apex conversions

About You

• You have 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focusing on the Salesforce platform (Development experience outside Salesforce ecosystem is a plus)
• You're opinionated about code quality but pragmatic about delivery
• You enjoy teaching others and sharing knowledge
• You're fluent in English; German is a plus
