As the Senior Sales Director for the Southeast Region, you will lead a high-performing sales team responsible for driving growth and achieving revenue targets across a dynamic territory. You will set the strategic direction for the region, develop and execute business plans, and foster strong relationships with enterprise customers and channel partners. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by expanding Gigamon’s presence, building a robust channel ecosystem, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative solutions. 
 
What you’ll do
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team to achieve and exceed regional revenue and performance targets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive regional business plan aligned with Gigamon’s strategic objectives.
  • Drive new business and expand existing enterprise accounts, ensuring exceptional client relationships and account management.
  • Build and manage a regional channel strategy, including recruiting, enabling, and supporting channel partners.
  • Accurately forecast sales performance using Salesforce and provide timely updates to leadership.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales Engineering, and cross-functional teams to identify and deliver customer solutions.
  • Represent Sales on cross-functional teams to support product development and enhancement initiatives.
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence to inform business strategy and product direction.
What you’ve done
  • 15+ years of experience in technology sales, including 3+ years managing a quota-carrying sales team.
  • Demonstrated success hiring, leading, and developing high-performing teams to achieve or exceed sales goals.
  • Proven experience developing and executing sales strategies for the Southwest region.
  • Track record of selling complex security, networking, and cloud-based IT solutions to large enterprise customers.
  • Experience building and managing a channel model and working with Alliance and Technology Ecosystem partners.
  • Strong forecasting skills with a history of meeting or exceeding commitments.

The base salary + commission compensation range targeted for this role is expected to be between $381,000 - $475,000 (subject to terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. 
 
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefit programs, which may include health and other insurances such as life and disability, and savings accounts such as a retirement plan with company matching contributions or similar, paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick), tuition reimbursement, employee assistance program (EAP), business travel accident insurance, employee discounts, and employee referral program.
