Senior React Native Engineer

Contribute significantly to a new banking application by integrating GraphQL, enhancing user experiences, and delivering high quality code in a startup environment.

Point is looking for a founding senior mobile engineer. We are building a modern and aspirational banking experience by bringing rewards and benefits to the everyday debit card.  Learn more about Point's team and culture here. You are:
  • Are a product oriented engineer that is excited to own and manage the front-end code base as a primary contributor.

  • Have a track record of shipping high quality production code using React Native, Typescript and GraphQL.

  • Understand the demanding nature of working in an early-stage startup environment. 

    • What we're built in:
  • React Native, typescript, expo, apollo client (GraphQL), Jest testing framework.
    • What you'll be doing:
  • Working closely with our design team to ensure an amazing user experience on the mobile app.
  • Integrating GraphQL end points into mobile app
  • Turning Zeplin designs into a beautiful polished app
  • Refactoring code and improving the overall user experience
    • You have:
  • 3+ years experience in mobile app development.
  • Familiarity with typescript, expo, apollo client (GraphQL), Jest testing framework.
  • Experience integrating GraphQL API endpoints
