About the role

We are seeking a Senior RF Engineer to join our Radar Payload Team, where you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing the critical RF components within our satellite radar hardware. This role requires a deep understanding of the entire radar chain and the ability to lead complex technical projects.

As a senior member of our team, you will be at the forefront of pushing the boundaries of satellite radar technology, ensuring the high performance and reliability of our systems from concept through to in-orbit operation.

Requirements

What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and test RF circuits and systems for satellite radar applications, with a strong focus on X-band or superior frequencies.
  • Provide technical leadership for RF-centric projects, guiding design decisions and ensuring successful execution.
  • Work across the entire radar chain, from transmitters and receivers to antennas and signal processing interfaces.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, and system architects, to integrate RF solutions.
  • Conduct rigorous RF characterization and testing of components and subsystems.
  • Proactively identify potential issues, propose innovative solutions, and contribute to system-level improvements.
  • Document designs, test procedures, and results thoroughly.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of proven experience as an RF Engineer, with a strong background in RADAR systems highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in X-band or superior frequency RF design and development.
  • Strong understanding of the entire radar chain (Tx, Rx, Antenna, RF front-end, digital interface).
  • Ability to provide technical leadership for complex RF projects, guiding junior engineers and making critical design decisions.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for innovation.
  • Proficiency with RF simulation tools (e.g., ADS, CST, HFSS) and RF test equipment (e.g., VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
  • Experience in the aerospace or military industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
