About us
Riverlane’s mission is to make quantum computing useful, sooner. From advances in material science to complex chemistry simulation for drug design and discovery, quantum computers will help solve some of the world’s most important challenges. Riverlane is building the quantum error correction stack to make this happen. It’s a complex problem that requires a range of skills, talent and passion. Having recently raised $75M in Series C funding to accelerate our cutting-edge R&D in Quantum Error Correction (QEC), we’re partnering with many of the leading quantum hardware providers and government agencies around the world to make fault-tolerant quantum computing a reality. We’re making remarkable progress and growing fast.
About the role
As a Senior Quantum Error Correction Researcher at Riverlane, you will help us to develop the world’s first Quantum Error Correction (QEC) stack that will unlock useful quantum computing.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join one Riverlane’s more theory-focused quantum error correction teams (Logic), which works to build the knowledge and the software stack required for future large-scale error-corrected calculations on quantum computing hardware. This talented team is a mix of mathematicians, physicists and software developers, working with leading experts in QEC on a range of exciting, high-impact and cutting-edge projects. As a senior researcher, you will lead projects within the team and, as Riverlane continues to grow, there will be opportunities to move into leadership roles for those interested.
Collaborating extensively with other teams within Riverlane, as well as with world-leading external partners, the critical work you will do as a Senior Quantum Error Correction Researcher will directly contribute to Riverlane’s Quantum Error Correction Stack.
