Senior Quality Assurance Engineer – Automation

The Senior QA Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of application components for Synergen’s Revenue Cycle Management Platform, which serves leading healthcare organizations in the US. This is a hands-on role requiring 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation. The Senior QA Engineer will leverage their expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cypress and Rest Assured to work closely with leads, engineers, and product owners in the development of complex applications. Additionally, they will ensure adherence to the highest quality standards in both functional and non-functional areas, including performance and security testing.

The Job Profile:

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities in SCRUM teams.
• Proven experience in writing test code in Java for automation frameworks using automated testing tools and frameworks like Selenium Webdriver, Cypress and RestAssured.
• Involve in performance and security testing strategies using JMeter, Gatling, and ZED Attack Proxy.
• Automate product testing and assist in developing the CI/CD pipelines.
• Give feedback and advice on upcoming new features from a quality assurance perspective.
• Carry out and monitor tasks related to quality control for various teams.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, automation techniques, and best practices.
• Collaborate with other QA team members and developers to provide input from QA perspective.
• Help with quality control tasks across different teams and assist in the identification and resolution of issues.

The Role Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science.
• At least 5 years of solid experience as a software tester.
• Hands on experience in Selenium Webdriver, TestNg or similar automation tool.
• Experience in API testing and familiar with tools like RestAssured, etc.
• Experience in Performance and Security related testing by using Jmeter,Gatling,ZED attack proxy like tools.
• Experience implementing quality improvements in an agile development environment.
• Familiar with version control
• Strong detail-orientated mindset.
• Outstanding technical problem-solving ability and communication skills.
• Prior experience in writing automation tests.
