Senior QA Engineer

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a QA engineer with experience in automation (Selenium) / API testing who would be validating the web based / Backend applications.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the requirement and Develop Test ware (Test Script - Manual, Test Data)
• Update Test Coverage Matrix
• Execute Test Cases and Update Status in Stand-ups/ JIRA/ Test Management Tool
• Follow the Testing Process and Procedures outlined .
• Log Test Defects in the Defect Management Tool along with required information
• Do necessary follow-ups with respective Stakeholders to Complete the Validation
• Participate in JAD sessions on need basis

COMPETENCIES

Must have skills:

• Working experience in Core Java/J2EE based applications
• Hands on experience in Selenium web driver
• Working experience in API testing

Good to have/Desired skills:

• Working experience in Linux/Unix OS
• Working experience in TestNG

• Experience with on-line advertising technologies or large-scale workflow systems would be a big plus

• Knowledge on version management tools like GitHub would be highly desirable

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

 Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in QA automation
