Senior QA Engineer – Lead Quality & Automation at MotorK

As we enter our next phase—transforming into an AI-native company—we’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer to lead the next generation of quality and automation across our platform.

The Role

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will take ownership of the QA strategy and lead the implementation of modern testing frameworks that ensure reliability and speed at scale. You’ll design and manage automated test solutions using Playwright or Cypress, mentor QA engineers, and collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to ensure every release meets the highest standards.

This is a key leadership role for someone who is passionate about automation, process improvement, and exploring how AI can elevate quality assurance.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in end-to-end QA and automation, ideally in a SaaS or digital product environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Playwright or Cypress.
• Deep understanding of test automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and QA best practices.
• Experience with API testing, data validation, and SQL.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience within a QA team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English.
• A proactive mindset and curiosity for applying AI tools to improve QA workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

What You’ll Do

• Lead QA strategy: Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes across multiple teams and projects.
• Drive automation: Build, maintain, and scale automated test suites using Playwright or Cypress.
• Ensure quality at speed: Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for seamless, reliable releases.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality is built in from day one.
• Mentor and guide: Support and develop junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Champion innovation: Explore and introduce AI-driven testing tools and methodologies to enhance QA efficiency.
• Safeguard data integrity: Conduct API and data validation testing, including SQL-based checks and migrations.
