Your mission
With a team of product and IT experts, the future position holder will be responsible for further developing beyonnex's Enterprise-IoT-Suite and services to ensure a stable and scalable technological foundation for the strategic development of the group of companies. In addition, the following tasks will be part of your position:
- Ensure high quality of product by creating & executing test strategy for new features, user workflows and integration to other systems
- Work closely with the software developers & product owner to ensure software quality
- Ensure quality is built into the development process, not added at the end
- Take accountability of automation test suite; constantly execute, expand and maintain automation tests & framework
- Prioritise, plan & execute testing activities for the team
- Analyse bugs and errors found during test
- Work closely with QA community to ensure collaboration between different teams
- Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
What we need from you
We are searching for a motivated candidate with following qualifications:
- Strong experience in exploratory testing and testing system integrated with other systems
- Hands-on experience with test automation tooling and frameworks, especially using Playwright or similar frameworks
- Ability to run, maintain, and schedule automated tests as part of CI/CD pipelines
- You know and embrace the test pyramid and know what level of testing to apply in which situation
- Solid understanding of software development and testing principles
- You are comfortable communicating daily in both English and German (B2 level or better)
- Work Model: Hybrid (On-site presence at our Hamburg office for one working day every two weeks is mandatory)
