Senior Python Developer (India)

We’re looking for a Senior Python Developer to join the VoiceAI Foundation Team, responsible for building and maintaining the core systems that keep our platform reliable, secure, and scalable as it grows.

In this role, you’ll work on production-facing backend services, partner closely with product engineers and DevOps, and help ensure new capabilities are ready to operate at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Python-based backend services
• Improve performance, reliability, and scalability of core platform components
• Support production systems by diagnosing issues and implementing long-term fixes
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to deliver features safely into production
• Improve logging, monitoring, and overall operational visibility
• Contribute to security improvements across APIs and integrations
• Help reduce technical debt and improve system maintainability
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience
• Strong experience building and operating backend services in production
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, and distributed systems
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Solid understanding of software quality, testing, and system design
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Self-Starter & Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Education: BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
• Availability: Must be available to coordinate and be present in real-time until at least 5 p.m. US Eastern Time.
