WHAT IS YOUR ROLE

As a Senior Purchasing Assistant, you will take ownership of procurement activities, ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing decisions while supporting and advocating for Boldr’s operational needs. You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, negotiate agreements, and analyze data to improve purchasing processes and supplier performance.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Manage purchase orders and supplier communications with minimal oversight.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to maximize value for Boldr.
  • Track, analyze, and report on purchasing trends to identify savings opportunities.
  • Monitor supplier performance and collaborate on issue resolution.
  • Partner with design, production, sales, and operations teams to forecast needs.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and maintain accurate ERP records.
  • Support vendor selection and evaluation, contributing to long-term partnerships.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in purchasing and inventory workflows.
  • Prepare spend analysis and supplier reports for leadership review.

YOU HAVE…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Advanced Excel and ERP/procurement system experience.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset, able to evaluate costs and supplier performance.
  • Industry experience in furniture, manufacturing, or home goods is a plus.
