About the Role: We are seeking a highly driven Senior Public Affairs Manager to lead our government relations and public affairs strategy. This role will be responsible for building strong relationships with government agencies, industry associations, and key stakeholders to support business objectives and ensure regulatory compliance. What you’ll do: Engage different stakeholders such as government authorities, non-governmental organisations, business chambers, etc. in the Philippines to promote exchange of views, build consensus on issues and explore partnerships. Develop and implement government relations strategies that align with business goals. Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and industry forums with government bodies and regulatory agencies. Build and maintain relationships with policymakers, industry associations, and community stakeholders. Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments, assessing their potential business impact. Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on policy and compliance matters. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Legal, Operations, Marketing, etc.) to ensure alignment in advocacy and communications. Manage crisis communications and external affairs issues as needed. What we seek: A wise and reliable practitioner with both private and government exposure to public policy. What you’ll need: A degree or master's degree holder with prior education or experience in public policy preferred Knowledgeable in dealing with various local and national government agencies. Experience in formulating and implementing strategic communications and partnership plans concerning external partners Must be willing to both working onsite and travelling to different locations when representing the company
