The Project Scheduler plays a critical role within the Project Management Office (PMO) at KPI Solutions, supporting the successful delivery of warehouse automation projects. This position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and standardizing project schedules that drive consistency, predictability, and alignment across all project phases, from estimation through execution and closeout. The Scheduler will build and maintain master templates, establish baseline scheduling standards, and ensure accurate integration between project budgets, resource plans, and schedule milestones. This individual partners closely with project managers, engineering, estimation, and operations teams to ensure that schedules accurately reflect project scope, sequencing, and dependencies.
Develop and maintain standardized scheduling templates and frameworks for warehouse automation projects that can be used as repeatable building blocks for future programs.
· Work with estimation and finance teams to align cost estimates and resource budgets with key scheduling milestones.
· Create and manage baseline project schedules, including task definitions, dependencies, durations, and resource assignments.
· Collaborate with project managers and functional leads to ensure schedules reflect realistic timelines, resource availability, and critical path logic.
· Implement schedule management best practices, including progress tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting.
· Maintain the integrated master schedule (IMS) across multiple concurrent projects, identifying interdependencies and risks.
· Support the PMO in establishing scheduling governance, including tools, templates, and reporting standards.
· Conduct schedule health checks and perform what-if analyses to evaluate the impact of scope or resource changes.
· Provide regular schedule updates and performance reports to leadership and key stakeholders including week-over-week variations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent project management experience considered.
· 5–10 years of experience in project scheduling, ideally within automation, construction, or manufacturing environments.
· Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies (Critical Path Method, resource leveling, baseline management, etc.).
· Expertise in scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent.
· Ability to translate engineering and operational deliverables into logical, sequenced project tasks.
· Proven ability to link cost and schedule data to support earned value management and project forecasting.
· Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively across engineering, operations, and finance teams.
· Familiarity with warehouse automation, material handling systems, or industrial project environments preferred.
· Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or other data analysis tools for schedule performance reporting.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
· Travel required, up to 15%.
· PMP or PMI-SP certification preferred.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Experience with Microsoft 365 – Office Applications
