Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the Head of IT, the Project Manager is responsible for driving the execution and delivery of multiple technology and strategic initiatives. Operating in a complex regulated environment, you will translate strategic intent into successfully executed outcomes.

Ensuring that delivery does not delay due to lack of coordination, ownership or follow through. This is a high visibility, hands on role requiring a high degree of autonomy, judgment, and persistence.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Project Delivery
- End-to-End Ownership: Lead, manage, and successfully deliver complex projects across technology platforms, infrastructure, and regulatory/compliance workstreams.
- Scoping & Planning: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior stakeholders. Translate objectives into structured delivery plans with clear milestones and owners.
- Financial & Quality Control: Accountable for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to a standard that realizes maximum business benefits.
Execution Management & Momentum
- Execution Discipline: Track actions, commitments, and deadlines across international teams and external partners.
- Risk & Issue Mitigation: Identify project risks, interdependencies, and blockers early. Develop effective mitigation strategies and contingency plans to maintain momentum.
- Constructive Persistence: Actively follow up on commitments to ensure agreed actions are completed, escalating issues when required with clear context and proposed solutions.
Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement
- Senior Collaboration: Engage directly with the Head of IT, Senior Business Analyst and senior functional leads to provide concise, outcome focused updates.
- Strategic Advisory: Suggest strategies to project owners to achieve goals and challenge delivery plans/assumptions constructively when required.
- Resource Management: Manage resources effectively across the project lifecycle, supporting prioritization decisions where timelines or resources conflict.
Cross-Functional Integration
- Business Analysis Collaboration: Work closely with the BA function to ensure clarity of requirements and bridge the gap between business objectives and technical delivery.
- Subject Matter Fluency: Engage confidently with technical, financial, and regulatory subject matter at a practical level.
Continuous Improvement
- Best Practices: Champion project management best practices and introduce mechanisms to improve delivery and visibility across the organization.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- Industry Expertise: 5+ years of Project Management experience within a Financial Services
- International Scope: Proven experience leading project teams across multiple countries and managing external partners/vendors.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Experience navigating projects within complex, regulated environments (Payments, Finance, or Risk/Compliance).
