Position Title: Project Manager & Executive Assistant to the CTO
Location: Remote – Colombia
What you will be doing: We are seeking a versatile and high-achieving Project Manager to lead complex initiatives while providing critical strategic support to our CTO. In this dual-impact role, you will dedicate 75% of your time to technical project management—driving large-scale, cross-functional programs—and 25% to administrative leadership, including scheduling, logistics, and executive presentations.
This role goes beyond basic coordination. You will solve complex organizational problems, managing dependencies across technology teams (E-commerce, Order Management) and business units (Warehouse Ops, Marketing). You are a "self-starter" who can transform high-level vision into detailed project plans while ensuring executive workflows remain seamless. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Technical Project Leadership: Lead complex projects using Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies. You will own the creation of project charters, detailed plans, and the identification of risks and roadblocks.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive projects involving stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring resource identification and alignment across disparate business and technology teams.
  • Executive Strategic Support: Support the CTO directly by developing high-impact PowerPoint decks, managing complex scheduling, and overseeing logistics to optimize executive efficiency.
  • Risk & Change Management: Proactively identify project impediments and design mitigation strategies. Manage project scope, budgets, and timelines with a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Communication & Reporting: Serve as the primary bridge between technical teams and the executive suite, delivering clear, data-driven reporting on project health and milestones.
  • Accountability & Standards: Enforce high engineering and project standards, ensuring that every initiative is measured against clear metrics and delivered with meticulous attention to detail.
Requirements & Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess:
  • Experience: 10+ years of professional experience delivering programs/projects within IT in a very fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Education: B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Project Methodologies: Deep expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management frameworks.
  • Technical Proficiency: High-level understanding of technical ecosystems, specifically within e-commerce, order management, or supply chain technology.
  • Tooling Expertise: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Excel, and PowerPoint for tracking and presentation.
  • Executive Presence: Proven ability to build partnerships and trust with key leaders and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • Grit & Adaptability: A "roll up your sleeves" mentality with the ability to remain level-headed and focused under pressure.
  • Certifications: PMP and/or Scrum Master certifications are preferred but not required.
