Your challenge
- Initiate, plan, manage, and deliver large-scale technical projects across LiveEO, ensuring alignment with defined scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards;
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Supplier Management teams to translate technical capabilities, constraints, and dependencies into executable project plans;
- Act as the primary interface between technical teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear, accurate, and timely information flow;
- Lead project reporting, governance, and status updates, communicating progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery impacts on LiveEO’s technical capabilities;
- Set, manage, and continuously align stakeholder expectations through transparent communication and proactive issue resolution;
- Apply and evolve project management best practices to support predictable delivery, scalability, and operational excellence across technical initiatives;
- Identify delivery risks, resource constraints, and execution bottlenecks early, driving mitigation actions in collaboration with relevant teams;
- Capture delivery insights, lessons learned, and execution feedback, and feed them into product roadmaps and cross-functional process improvements to enhance automation, reliability, and reproducibility of LiveEO’s technical solutions.
Your profile
- 8+ years of experience in technical project management, delivering complex, cross-functional technical initiatives end to end;
- University degree in aeronautical engineering, satellite engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical discipline; formal training or certification in project management is a strong plus;
- Strong analytical and structured thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex technical challenges into clear plans, risks, and mitigation strategies;
- Proven track record of goal-oriented execution, successfully driving projects to completion in dynamic and technically complex environments;
- High degree of self-management, ownership, and process efficiency, with the ability to operate independently and reliably;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including a strong willingness and ability to engage directly with customers and external partners;
- Professional working proficiency in German and English (spoken and written);
- Experience working with GIS solutions; prior exposure to Earth Observation, geospatial analytics, or satellite-based products is a strong advantage;
- Strong ability to operate effectively under pressure, applying structured problem-solving and an innovative mindset to navigate ambiguity and delivery constraints;
- Solid understanding of both agile software development and classical / plan-driven delivery approaches, with the ability to pragmatically apply the right methodology based on context.
