About the role 

The Senior Project Manager role will be a key member of our growing Production Real Estate Team. The successful candidate will manage complex construction projects throughout their life cycle.  You will have prior experience as Senior Project Manager and be able to manage projects independently.

 Role Details: 

  • Managing multiple complex projects in design and construction from inception to completion
  • Lead day to day on-site activities for third party workforce and maintain internal communication on business critical milestones
  • Complete property reports on sites by reviewing site surveys, due diligence materials, building drawings, and site development plans
  • Oversee invitations to bid and contract awards.  Manage progress payments and change orders.
  • Create and maintain schedules and budgets for projects
  • Oversee General Contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers. 
  • Communicate and manage internal stakeholder meetings, requirements and sign off on projects
  • There is daily travel locally required for this position.  There is potential for overnight travel in the future.

Role Requirements:

  •  8+ years of experience with either a general contractor, owner project management firm, or design firm.
  • Thorough understanding of applicable building code requirements
  •  Experience working with and maintaining relationships with local officials and inspectors
  •  Construction, estimating, budgeting, and forecasting on projects with Capex spend of $10mil +
  • Construction admin experience with invitations to bid, RFPs, submittals, change management, and procurement
  •  Experience in vendor management & selection
  •  Ability to understand and analyze complex commercial electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, life safety, and fire protection system
  •  Ability to analyze site work and site infrastructure, including utility connections such as storm water, sanitary, fire, water, telecommunication
  •  Ability to review and provide actionable feedback on leases, contracts and legal documents.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite & AutoCAD a plus
  • Excellent organizational & interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to solve complex business challenges 

The way you work 

  • Act as the point of contact for all day-to-day project issues. 
  • Develop, maintain, and review all project documentation including status reports 
  • Provide weekly updates for status meetings, including developing and regularly updating status sheets 
  • Help establish missing processes that are needed to execute programs successfully  
  • Partner with the Culinary, Operations, Real Estate, Facilities, HR, and Accounting departments to develop and manage comprehensive project plans
  • Organize and lead all meetings relevant to project completion
  • Ensure up-to-date changes to project timelines are communicated with all parties
  • Ownership of multiple, high profile, and concurrent construction projects with aggressive timelines
  • Own all major project timelines from conception to go-live inclusive of establishment of all major gateways, and liaising with applicable vendors and contractors.
  • Manage procurement of food service equipment from culinary selection to order and tracking
  • Ensure all relevant contracts are in place and deadlines are met to ensure projects are completed on schedule
  • Communicate between stakeholders to make sure that all project requirements are met.
  • Plan for new requirements and create best practices for future operations of the business.
  • Organize commissioning of new equipment and ensure proper handover is completed between Real Estate, Facilities, and Operations
  • Assist in planning of hiring events for any new openings
  • Provide insight and feedback related to equipment installations, construction timing, supply chain issues, and costing analysis
