Senior Project Manager

Manage end-to-end catalogue acquisition processes while supporting local teams in India & Southeast Asia to close and integrate key deals effectively.

Project Title: Senior Project Manager, Small Catalogue Acquisition (SCA) deals

  1. Reporting Line:
  1. Direct reporting line: GMO’s, India & South East Asia
  2. Dotted reporting line: Vice President, SCA
  1. Mission:

The Senior Project Manager, India & South East Asia will be responsible for managing all catalogue acquisition processes within India & South East Asia, ensuring efficient execution of transactions from pricing to deal closing & integration.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage end-to-end catalogue acquisition processes in India & South East Asia
  2. Oversee and prioritize the deal pipeline in collaboration with local teams - assessing deal eligibility and attractivity
  3. Analyze past catalogue performance, model future cash flows and determine target acquisition price
  4. Negotiate key business and financial terms of the transactions in collaboration with the Catalogue Acquisition Business Affairs, Senior Leader and the local team (non-binding agreements, asset purchase agreements)
  5. Onboard and manage key stakeholders internal and stakeholder as the deal / transaction may require
  6. Prepare post-merger integration kick-off meetings, anticipating potential challenges and engaging relevant expert teams early in the process

       Must have:

  1. 5–8 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  2. Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end project lifecycles — planning, execution, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and delivery.
  3. Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  5. Excellent communication skills with high ownership and accountability mindset.

Good to Have:

  1. Prior experience working with music label or distribution companies
  2. Understanding of metadata standards, rights management, and content ID systems
  3. Experience managing international releases and multi-territory coordination

Master’s degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field
