We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead high-impact automation and AI/ML initiatives across complex, cross-functional environments. This role focuses on driving intelligent automation, predictive modeling, and generative AI projects from concept to deployment while ensuring alignment with business objectives, ethical AI principles, and operational excellence. You will manage distributed teams, guide stakeholder engagement, and provide strategic oversight to deliver measurable business value. The position combines technical acumen with leadership, mentoring, and process improvement responsibilities, and involves collaborating across business, data science, and engineering teams to accelerate automation adoption and digital transformation. The role is remote, providing flexibility while supporting enterprise-scale initiatives.

Accountabilities

·         Lead end-to-end delivery of complex AI, ML, and intelligent automation projects, managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality.

·         Coordinate cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, developers, and business analysts, ensuring alignment on priorities and deliverables.

·         Oversee automation platform implementations, MLOps pipelines, and model deployment, ensuring responsible practices around bias, explainability, and data privacy.

·         Serve as the primary liaison for stakeholders and executive sponsors, providing clear status updates, dashboards, and risk assessments.

·         Develop and implement change management plans to support adoption of automation solutions and ensure operational readiness.

·         Mentor junior project managers and teams on methodologies, tools, and automation best practices.

·         Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks related to automation, AI/ML models, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

·         5+ years managing large-scale, cross-functional projects in AI/ML, intelligent automation, or advanced analytics.

·         Hands-on experience with agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and traditional project management methodologies.

·         Expertise in automation concepts, model training/evaluation, feature engineering, and MLOps processes.

·         Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI) and automation tools.

·         Knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, AI Act), and responsible automation principles.

·         Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts for business audiences and vice versa.

·         Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

·         Project management certifications (PMP, CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) preferred.
