We are looking for a Senior Project Manager – Commercial Interiors to lead tenant improvement, workplace, and landlord repositioning projects within commercial buildings. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. The position requires strong coordination with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal teams. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience managing commercial interior construction projects and is comfortable leading multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
• Manage commercial interior construction projects including workplace tenant improvements, landlord work, and building repositioning projects
• Oversee projects from preconstruction through completion, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and closeout
• Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal project teams
• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones
• Manage project budgets, change orders, and cost controls
• Lead subcontractor selection, contract management, and performance oversight
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality expectations
• Resolve project challenges proactively to keep projects on track
Requirements
• 12–15 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
• Strong background in commercial interiors, tenant improvements, and landlord work
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate across teams
• Experience working with architects, consultants, and building ownership groups
• Proficiency with construction project management software and scheduling tools
• Ability to manage projects from preconstruction through final delivery
