Senior Production Planner
The Senior Production Planner at Astera Labs is pivotal in production planning for PCBA products, ensuring the plans are well executed and the shipment plan meets customer’s requirements. This role involves building and maintaining robust relationships with both internal stakeholders within Astera Labs and its customer organizations. The planner leverages these relationships to manage expectations, enhance operations, and resolve issues related to orders, supply, delivery, and forecasts. They are responsible for reviewing backlogs, managing the product plan, shipping plan, and ensuring accurate supply commit VS demand requirements. Additionally, they communicate with customers for shipment arrangements and documentation preparation.
The ideal candidate excels in PCBA production planning and effective communication. They are proactive problem solvers who adapt well to change and uncertainty. They collaborate to achieve goals and drive continuous improvement of the supply. They are detail-oriented and analytical, engaging with customers and stakeholders to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Monitor and follow up closely with CM on production schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
· Coordinate order/demand communication across different departments and expedite demand fulfillment.
· Maintain related shipments information in systems and arrange shipments delivery.
· Review and monitor CM’s production status and assist to plan material requirements and ensure the flow of materials for ongoing production as well as for new products in development.
· Other projects and tasks may be assigned based on business needs.
Preferred Experience:
· 5+ years planning, production planning working experience, IT manufacturing industry is highly preferred
· Experienced in MRP/ERP and supply chain management
· Advanced use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
· Language skill: Mandarin (native speaker is preferred), English (Good in listening, speaking, reading, writing)
· Strong communication, negotiation skills.
· Excellent problem solving and analysis skills.
· Stress resistant, can work under pressure & challenges.
· Need to be aggressive and positive, patience and careful.
· Ability to work cross-functionally.
