Position Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Production Officer to join our team on a temporary 3-month contract. In this critical role, you will be a key support to the Production Manager, ensuring the smooth, compliant, and efficient execution of our daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional with a strong foundation in GMP, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and documentation.

 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operational Coordination: Assist the Production Manager in organizing and coordinating the daily activities of the Production Department to meet output targets.
  • Documentation Management & Compliance: Prepare, review, and maintain critical documentation, including Batch Production Records (BPRs), Validation/Qualification protocols, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure full compliance.
  • GMP & Quality Assurance: Ensure all production processes and workflows strictly adhere to current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and internal quality policies. Conduct routine monitoring of records and logbooks for accuracy and completeness.
  • Systems & Hygiene Oversight: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the production documentation system. Monitor production equipment and cleanroom hygiene according to approved GMP procedures.
  • Training Support: Participate in the induction and on-the-job training of new and existing production staff to uphold operational standards.

Requirements

Who We're Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related regulated industry (GMP).
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding and practical experience with GMP requirements, documentation practices (BPRs, SOPs), and quality systems. Experience with validation/qualification processes is a strong plus.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in documentation.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
