Senior Product Software Engineer (Frontend)

As a Front-end Senior Product Software Engineer, you're given a real chance to influence the UI direction of the product. And you get to see your code go to production frequently, thanks to our SaaS model and continuous deployment practices. You’ll be given the freedom to fully own UI features, from design to deployment (Either as part of the team or on your own). This means your code contributions make a real difference.

What You Will Be Doing

• Build and design UI product features
• Build new features in the latest version of React, TypeScript, and Material UI
• Be heavily involved in the migration of remaining legacy AngularJS code to React
• Apply best practice UI, UX, and state management
• Partner with our Scrum teams working through the design of new features
• Propose and discuss alternative solutions
• Write unit tests and partner with our QA Engineers to drive the quality and performance of your code
• Conduct code reviews giving guidance and advice to continually improve the UI

Skills & Experience

To be successful in the role, you need:

• Bring a minimum of 4-5+ years of front-end experience
• Have worked with modern JavaScript frameworks - e.g., React or similar 
• Demonstrate experience interfacing with RESTful backend API’s
• Ideally have experience working in a SaaS or product company, or delivering software to enterprise customers
• Passionate about writing clean, high-performance code
• Have experience in Agile software development methodologies
• Highly collaborative, consensus-driven

• Java, Spring, SQL
• OAuth, front-end security

Location & Eligibility

This role offers a flexible work location across Ireland. Whether that be in the office in Dublin, remote from anywhere in Ireland, or a mix of office/remote work in Ireland, you choose what works best for your lifestyle. 

There are quarterly team meet ups that all of the team are expected to attend in our Dublin office - a good opportunity to catch up and spend some time working together in person.
