We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead our platform infrastructure cost optimization initiatives across our data technology platforms. This role combines product management expertise with deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and financial modeling to drive strategic cost efficiency while maintaining platform performance and reliability. 
 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Cost Modeling & Analysis 

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive cost models for multi-cloud infrastructure running on AWS, Azure, and GCP environments 
  • Create predictive cost forecasting models for various data technology stacks (Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, Snowflake, streaming platforms) 
  • Build cost attribution frameworks to allocate infrastructure expenses across business units, products, and customer segments 
  • Design and implement real-time cost monitoring dashboards and alerting systems for infrastructure spend 
  • Track and analyze cost performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variance drivers 
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to implement cost-saving initiatives including rightsizing, auto-scaling, and reserved capacity strategies 

 

Product Strategy & Roadmap 

  • Define product strategy for cost management tools and platforms used across the organization 
  • Develop roadmaps for infrastructure cost optimization initiatives, balancing cost reduction with performance requirements 
  • Partner with platform engineering teams to integrate cost considerations into architectural decisions 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience 
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years focused on infrastructure, platform, or technical products 
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure services and pricing models (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
  • Experience with monitoring and observability platforms (DataDog, New Relic, Grafana) 
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to work with large datasets and identify cost optimization patterns 
  • Experience with data technology stacks including distributed computing frameworks, data pipelines, and analytics platforms 
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools (PowerBI, Excel, SQL, Python/R for data analysis) 
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining cost monitoring and optimization programs 
  • Experience taking to market an AI enabled data product 
  • Experience communicating and presenting to executive leadership 

 

Experience Preferred: 
 

  • Contact center experience with multi-channel routing and data reporting responsibilities. 
  • Experience with project management and project communication techniques and tools.  
  • Experience in a high-growth technology company with significant cloud infrastructure spend 
  • Background in platform engineering, SRE, or cloud architecture roles 
  • Experience with FinOps practices and cost optimization methodologies
