Position Title: Senior Product Owner
Location: Remote - Colombia
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the strategic direction and ongoing development of an internal digital product that supports enterprise teams in delivering engaging, insight-driven experiences. This role owns the product vision, roadmap, and backlog, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure the product delivers measurable value and aligns with business objectives. The Senior Product Owner plays a key role in defining product priorities and driving product excellence, collaborating closely with stakeholders and delivery teams within an agile environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Define, communicate, and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
Own and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clarity, readiness, and alignment with value-driven outcomes.
Translate business needs and user insights into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Lead agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and user story mapping.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality product increments.
Gather and incorporate user and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve the product.
Monitor product performance and usage trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality standards and alignment with requirements.
Remove blockers and proactively address risks impacting delivery and team productivity.
Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing product and delivery culture.
Provide guidance and support to other product team members as needed.
Requirements & Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
+5 years of proven experience in a Senior Product Owner or equivalent product leadership role.
Strong background leading the development of digital products, including internal platforms or SaaS solutions.
Solid understanding of agile methodologies and hands-on experience working in agile delivery environments.
Demonstrated ability to own product decisions and manage priorities across competing stakeholder needs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse audiences.
Experience translating complex business requirements into well-defined user stories.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a value-oriented mindset.
Hands-on experience with product and delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with collaboration, workshop facilitation, or survey-based digital products
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and working closely with design teams.
Experience using product analytics and user research to inform product decisions.
Exposure to tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar collaboration and design platforms.
