THE ROLE & THE TEAM
We're building a modern, AI-first GTM operation at Shippit — and this role sits right at the heart of it. As a Senior Product Marketing Specialist, you'll join our Product Marketing team and own the intelligence, communications, and enablement work that drives growth and product adoption across our customer base.
This is a pivotal role at the intersection of market intelligence, customer communications, and sales enablement. You'll work closely with the Product Marketing Lead and collaborate across Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Growth to ensure insight is embedded in every decision. There's a genuine pathway to management for the right candidate.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own and maintain a living PMM knowledge base — keeping persona, ICP, competitive, and market intelligence current and accessible across GTM and Product.
- Lead always-on competitive intelligence using AI tooling to surface insights at pace and support regular analysis.
- Design and run a structured win-loss analysis programme, synthesising findings into clear recommendations for Sales, Product, and leadership.
- Run AI-powered voice-of-customer analysis — processing call transcripts and reviews to surface themes, sentiment trends, and unmet needs.
- Plan, co-ordinate, and deliver enablement for Sales and Customer Success teams in line with monthly and seasonal business motions.
- Build and maintain a dynamic sales enablement library — battlecards, objection handling guides, and competitive positioning assets.
- Partner with Sales to translate market intelligence into practical, deal-winning tools.
- Develop and iterate enablement assets based on win-loss data, voice-of-customer insights, and sales feedback
- Lead the strategy and execution of customer communications programmes across email, in-app, and other channels that drive feature adoption and expansion revenue.
- Use AI to personalise and execute multiple streams of communications at scale, tailoring messaging to customer segment, ICP, persona, lifecycle stage, and product usage signals.
- Analyse campaign performance and iterate based on data, voice-of-customer insights, and sales feedback loops.
- Own the marketing automation platform and email database — segmentation, data hygiene, and workflows that support launches and adoption.
OUR IDEAL SHIPPSTER
You combine the rigour of a strategist with the speed of an operator. You don't wait for a perfect brief — you get moving, iterate quickly, and course-correct with data. You're genuinely excited about AI and already using it to do things that would have taken a team twice the size.
- 3–6+ years in product marketing, with demonstrable experience in market intelligence or customer communications.
- Strong grasp of core PMM frameworks: ICP and persona development, competitive analysis, messaging hierarchy, win-loss.
- Proven track record of running customer or prospect communications that drove measurable business outcomes.
- Hands-on experience managing marketing databases and CRM/MAP tooling (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce, Customer.io, Marketo or similar).
- Demonstrably fluent in AI tools for research, insight synthesis, content development, and workflow automation — this is non-negotiable.
- Self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, able to prioritise and deliver without extensive hand-holding.
- Experience in B2B SaaS is a plus, as is exposure to revenue marketing or growth functions.
