Role Description and Mission:
The Senior Product Manager, Workday Financials is the business partner and technical owner of the enterprise Procure-to-Pay (P2P) ecosystem. Serving as the critical bridge between Finance teams (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Reimbursements) and the technology stack, this individual is responsible for the strategic roadmap, configuration, and systemic optimization of Workday Financials. Moving beyond feature execution, the Senior Product Manager, Workday Financials implements scalable, compliant, and highly automated financial workflows from Requisition to Payment, ensuring the organization achieves its goals for touchless processing and maintains robust internal controls.

Skills, Education and Experience:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
EXPERIENCE: 8-10 years of total professional experience in Product Management, Business Systems Analysis, or Financial Operations. Minimum of 2 years of direct, hands-on configuration and optimization experience within a Workday Financials environment, specifically utilizing the Procurement, Supplier Accounts, or Expenses modules. Deep understanding of the full Procure-to-Pay lifecycle, vendor master data management, payment flows, and three-way matching/reconciliation. Experience with OCR tools (e.g., Kofax, ScanOne) or advanced procurement marketplaces is preferred. Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, managing backlogs utilizing tools such as Jira.
ROLE BASED COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: This position partners directly with the Director of Claims Payments & Reimbursements, Accounting Leadership, and cross-functional teams including Engineering Squads and Data Science & Analytics to align financial workflows with technical execution.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Ideal candidate is based in Massachusetts or New Hampshire and has the ability to come into our Medford, MA headquarters occasionally. Remote candidates should be flexible to travel to our Medford, MA headquarters 5% of total time, depending on project needs. Evening or weekend hours may be required to meet project deadlines or system updates.
