This Sr. Product Manager will set and drive the product vision, strategic planning, and long-term roadmap for the Embolics portfolio. This leader will proactively identify business opportunities, solve complex challenges, and influence cross-functional teams to ensure the product’s market success and continued growth. 

NOTE: This position requires the successful candidate to report into the Woburn, MA office per Sirtex's hybrid schedule (currently 3 days/week in office and 2 days/week remote).  All candidates must be local to the Boston, MA area and willing to commute, or regional and be open to relocation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own product strategies aligned to company objectives and drive strategic planning for portfolio growth.
  • Lead market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement to identify opportunities and inform decisions.
  • Proactively solve business and product challenges using analytics, frameworks, and collaboration.
  • Influence and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes.
  • Shape team culture—mentor, communicate vision, and drive proactive solutions.
  • Manage complete product lifecycle from concept through launch and iteration.
  • Optimize roadmap and priorities based on performance metrics and business goals.
  • Build organizational credibility as a strategic partner and advocate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Align stakeholder requirements and lead product development across functions.
  • Develop effective product positioning, marketing plans, and educational programs.
  • Apply deep healthcare industry knowledge to drive relevant product decisions.
  • Foster productive relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and support corporate quality policies.
  • Ensure strategic rational and requirements including financial assumptions, voice of customer, user and product requirements are aligned.
  • Development and manage product and program pre-launch, launch and post-launch activities including: developing product positioning, market strategy, value propositions and key product claims and messaging. Develop collateral, sales and physician education programs and training both domestic and international marketing and sales teams.
  • Create strategic product marketing plans that are in line with Sirtex strategic initiatives.
  • Developing long-standing and productive relationships with influential key opinion leaders.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Global Director of Product Management
  • Expectation to travel at a frequency to support the organization.

EDUCATIONAL PREREQUISITES AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing and/or Product Management; Advanced degree/ MBA preferred
  • 8+ years’ product management with expertise in strategic planning and cross-functional leadership.
  • Proven success developing and executing product strategies in regulated environments, especially medical devices required.
  • Skilled in proactive problem identification, creative solutions, and achieving ambitious goals through team influence.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven approach, translating insights into product direction.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with established ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive change.
  • Demonstrated capability to anticipate strategic risks and opportunities, acting with urgency and resourcefulness

The target base salary range for this position will range from $120,000 to $151,000 annually. Individual compensation for this job requisition will be based on non-discriminatory factors, including your geographic location, skills, experience, education and other factors as they relate to the position requirements.  Actual compensation may vary depending on the confirmed job-related skills and experience.

In addition to the expected base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in Sirtex’s incentive programs (target bonus of 10% for this position) and benefit plans, which include paid sick and vacation time, health insurance and a generous 401k matching program.
