Senior Product Manager

We are reimagining the financial infrastructure of Latin America, where SMBs financial needs are satisfied without ever having to go to a bank.

R2 enables platforms in Latin America to embed financial services that SMBs can then leverage (starting with revenue-based financing). We are a tight-knit team coming from organizations such as Google, Amazon, Nubank, Uber, Capital One, Mercado Libre, Globant, and J.P. Morgan. We are entering a new phase of growth following a strategic investment from Ant International, focused on rapidly expanding our partner footprint, strengthening our credit and underwriting capabilities, and scaling our operations across multiple markets. 

As a Senior Product Manager, you will spearhead the consolidation, scaling, and operational excellence of R2’s GenAI infrastructure and complex partner integrations. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Risk, Collections, Support, Growth, and Product teams to ensure that our GenAI stack and shared partner platforms evolve in a scalable, standardized, and high-leverage way.

What you’ll work on:

• You will own the end-to-end roadmap and execution of R2’s GenAI platform capabilities, in close partnership with the Director of Product.
• You will take ownership of scaled or operationally complex partner integrations once they mature beyond initial launch, ensuring long-term sustainability and standardization.
• You will maintain and scale R2’s GenAI stack, including internal agents, orchestration layers, shared infrastructure, and platform tooling.
• You will translate internal business use cases (Risk, Collections, Support, Marketing, Ops, etc.) into reusable, productized GenAI components.
• You will ensure GenAI/Platform capabilities are: Standardized across teams, technically consistent, scalable by design, secure, observable, and measurable
• You will define prioritization frameworks for product initiatives and align stakeholders across teams that depend on shared infrastructure, working closely with Engineering to build, test, and deploy solutions.
• You will work closely with Engineering to define architecture decisions, guardrails, and performance standards for Product initiatives.
• You will drive cross-functional coordination across Product, Engineering, Risk, Collections, Support, and Marketing to ensure platform leverage rather than duplicated effort.
• You will identify fragmentation risks across agents, infrastructure, and integrations, and proactively centralize patterns and best practices.
• You will ensure documentation, internal enablement, and governance mechanisms are in place for GenAI and partner platforms.

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with strong exposure to platform, infrastructure, or technical products.
• Strong technical fluency, comfortable discussing APIs, data models, orchestration systems, system architecture, and trade-offs with engineers.
• Experience shipping platform or infra-adjacent products used by internal teams or multiple external stakeholders.
• Experience working with AI/ML or GenAI-driven products is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and aligning multiple stakeholders across teams.
• Proven ability to drive execution across cross-functional surfaces without direct authority.
• Strong prioritization skills, able to say “no” and enforce standardization when needed.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Motivated self-starter with high ownership and bias for action.

Nice to have:

• Experience in fintech or embedded finance environments.
• Experience building tools and systems on your own through tools like Claude Code.
• Exposure to agent-based systems, LLM infrastructure, or automation frameworks.
• Experience managing external technical partnerships or integrations.
• Familiarity with observability, evaluation, or governance frameworks in AI systems.
• Experience working in high-growth, fast-scaling organizations.
