We're seeking an exceptional Senior Product Manager to own the strategic direction and execution of our Ground Mount product—a mature, market-leading solution in the solar design space. This is a high-impact role where you'll be responsible for defending and expanding our market position while driving sustainable growth through customer retention, expansion, and product excellence.
You'll operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and customer success—defining the product roadmap, championing data-driven decision making, and collaborating across engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to maximize business impact. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, analytical rigor, commercial acumen, and the ability to influence without authority across all levels of the organization.
Define the multi-year strategy for Ground Mount. You will balance disruptive innovation with stability required by our enterprise customers to defend and expand our market leadership.
Lead technical discovery sessions with solar engineers to deconstruct CAD-based workflows.
Navigate the unique constraints of the AutoCAD platform to deliver high-performing software that solves sophisticated engineering challenges without sacrificing UX.
Build and communicate a roadmap that balances "Feature Requests vs. Long-term Strategy." Use quantitative user behavior data and qualitative feedback to justify trade-offs to internal stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional teams (Engineering, Design, QA) to ship high-quality solutions to meaningful challenges.
Impact key top line business outcomes like NRR and LTV by identifying and driving proxy product outcomes.
Work as a strategic peer to Sales and Customer Success to refine onboarding, improve feature discovery, and ensure our Go-To-Market efforts align with the actual value being delivered.
5+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS companies, with at least 2-3 years focused on growth, retention, or managing mature products at scale
Proven track record of driving measurable business impact through product decisions - you can point to specific metrics you've moved (e.g., increased NRR from X to Y, reduced churn by Z%, drove $Xm in expansion revenue)
Strong analytical capabilities with hands-on experience using product analytics tools (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, Pendo) and running experiments to validate hypotheses
Experience working in competitive markets where defending market share and differentiating from competitors was critical to success
Deep understanding of B2B SaaS business models, unit economics, and how product decisions impact revenue, retention, and customer acquisition costs
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills - you can translate complex technical concepts for business audiences and articulate business value to technical teams
Strong technical aptitude with ability to engage meaningfully with engineering teams on architecture, trade-offs, and technical feasibility
Customer-centric mindset with experience conducting customer interviews, analyzing feedback, and translating insights into product strategy
Bias for action and ownership mentality—you do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful, from writing test plans to analyzing user frustrations
Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and modern product development practices
Excellent written and spoken English (C2 level) with ability to create compelling narratives and influence through written communication
Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to develop deep domain expertise in solar energy and renewable technologies
Experience identifying and integrating AI opportunities into product workflows, with understanding of when AI adds value vs. when traditional solutions are more appropriate
Bonus Points:
Experience in technical domains (CAD/design software, engineering tools, construction tech, or renewable energy)
Background in technical or engineering fields with ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts
Experience with product-led growth strategies and self-serve product models
Track record of successfully optimizing pricing, packaging, or monetization strategies
Experience managing products across multiple geographic markets with diverse customer segments
Familiarity with subscription billing systems and revenue operations
Prior experience at high-growth SaaS companies or top-tier tech companies

First 30 Days: Deep dive into customer data, usage patterns, and competitive landscape. Build relationships with key stakeholders across sales, customer success, engineering, and leadership
First 90 Days: Establish product metrics framework and baseline performance. Identify and prioritize top 3-5 opportunities for impact. Ship at least one meaningful improvement based on customer feedback
