We are seeking a Product Manager to define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the next-generation MujinController, driving innovation and commercialization in a rapidly growing market. This role is central to enhancing user experience, meeting market demands, and expanding our global impact.
Responsibilities:
Lead strategic research into industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in industrial automation and intelligent robotics to guide high-impact product decisions
Own end-to-end product lifecycle management, ensuring timely delivery, cost control, and alignment with strategic goals
Drive cross-functional program execution, coordinating between product, engineering, marketing, and operations to ensure delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
Establish and oversee program governance practices to ensure risk management, milestone tracking, and resource allocation across product initiatives
Portfolio Management: Direct oversight of the product portfolio, from inception to retirement, ensuring achievement of key business metrics including orders, revenue, and profitability
Translate business strategy into a differentiated offering and solution portfolio through market segmentation, customer insights, and innovation prioritization
Lead the definition and evolution of new product portfolios by conducting value analysis, defining roadmap strategy, and collaborating closely with R&D for execution
Conduct in-depth market analysis, tracking regulatory trends, customer requirements, and emerging technologies to shape product positioning and competitive advantage
Engage directly with customers to design and negotiate systems architecture, including network protocols, PLC integration, and project-specific interface requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s or MBA preferred
7+ years of experience in product management or product development, preferably in industrial automation, intelligent robotics, or similar domains
Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs with multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups
Strong command of agile methodologies and modern product delivery frameworks
Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills
Ability to lead through influence in a fast-paced environment
Required Technical Competencies:
Familiarity with robotics platforms, motion control systems, and embedded systems architectures
Hands-on experience collaborating with R&D/engineering on hardware-software co-development, technical specifications, and test plans
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements and business value propositions
Working knowledge of tools and platforms for agile product development and program tracking (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
Understanding of relevant international standards and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., IEC, ISO, UL, CE) in industrial products
Strong grasp of systems integration, including APIs, network architecture, and cybersecurity standards
Desired: Proficiency in data analytics and product telemetry—able to derive actionable insights from product usage and performance metrics
