Senior Product Manager, Medical Imaging Foundation Models

Role Description:

The Product Manager will lead the development and execution of HOPPR’s foundation models for medical imaging, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver scalable AI solutions. This role requires a focus on understanding clinical needs, designing effective solutions, and making informed trade-offs to balance customer demands with technical feasibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and define the product roadmap for HOPPR’s foundation models for medical imaging, aligning with market needs and company goals. 
• Conduct research on clinical workflows and the medical imaging landscape to inform product direction and ensure solutions meet customer needs.  
• Draft clear marketing and product requirements to guide development, ensuring clinical relevance and regulatory compliance. 
• Manage feature prioritization and make trade-offs between functionality, performance, and feasibility to meet customer and business goals. 
• Engage internal and external stakeholders, including clinical teams and data scientists, to inform, and shape the product roadmap. 
• Partner with engineering to work through implementation details, design and development reviews, and ensure the on-time delivery of features.  
• Collaborate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure model features and training methodologies comply with FDA and HIPAA requirements. 
• Work closely with product management and leadership teams to develop and support the go-to-market strategy.  

Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PHD in engineering or relevant field 
• 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of defining, developing, and launching successful AI-driven products in medical imaging. 
• Prior experience in a fast-paced or startup environment is advantageous. 
• Experience with agile development. 
• Ability to translate and articulate complicated and/or ambiguous business problems into easily understood solutions and functional requirements. 
• Ability to define and analyze key product metrics to assess performance and drive continuous improvement. 
• Experience working on products across the full product lifecycle (conception, development, go-to-market, and post launch support). 
• Proven written and oral communication skills and ability to influence colleagues.
