(Senior) Product Manager- Market Making (m/f/x)

This role can be based in either Berlin or Munich.

Our Broker, Digital Wealth Management, and Market Making are now seamlessly integrated to set new standards for private investing.

We are looking for a passionate and motivated (Senior) Product Manager to own our Market Making capabilities. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the technology for market making on the European Investor Exchange, Europe's newest stock exchange tailored specifically to the needs of retail investors. You will work alongside a highly motivated team of software engineers, product managers, and academics, implementing an integration of a magnitude that is unparalleled in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Define, prioritize, and deliver the roadmap for our market making solutions, managing trade-offs to deliver innovative solutions to challenging problems.
• Work closely with Trading, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and partners to build, launch, and iterate on impactful product initiatives.
• Establish strong relationships with external partners
• Translate market research, quantitative data analysis, user and client feedback into a cohesive product vision, user stories, and intuitive user experiences.

• Practical product management experience as a PM or by driving product-focused projects in a dynamic startup or tech environment
• Passion for technology, finance and digital products and strong understanding of financial markets
• Strong academic background with a degree in Management, Finance, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field
• Strong analytical thinking, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions
• Utmost attention to detail and a culture of excellence
• Excellent communication skills that are clear, concise, and targeted towards your audience - software engineer, stakeholder or executive
• A great understanding of and focus on customer problems and needs
• Hands-on mentality: from ideation and research to prototype and user story, you can handle it
• Excellent English communication skills (German is advantageous but not necessary)
• Great understanding of product management practices and incorporating diverse inputs (user research, data, market analysis) into product strategy
• Bonus Points: Experience with market making, trading algorithms, Multilateral Trading Facilities (MTFs) and/or knowledge about market infrastructure and market microstructure
