Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the vision and roadmap for our new billing and invoicing system from the ground up.

  • Translate complex finance and accounting requirements into clear, actionable product requirements.

  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and compliance teams to ensure regulatory alignment (e.g., tax compliance, invoicing rules, reporting).

  • Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog for billing features, enhancements, and automation.

  • Drive the discovery and definition phases for key capabilities such as proration, credit notes, multi-currency handling, dunning, integrations with payment providers, etc.

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle – from ideation through delivery and iteration.

  • Continuously analyze product performance and customer feedback to optimize usability and reduce friction.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders on anything related to billing and invoicing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably with SaaS or fintech companies.

  • Background in accounting, finance, or ERP systems is a Must

  • Experience with payment gateways or billing engines such as Stripe, Chargebee, Recurly, or Zuora.

  • Familiarity with subscription-based business models.

  • Proven track record of owning and launching financial systems, particularly billing, invoicing, or payments platforms.

  • Deep understanding of finance operations such as revenue recognition, ledger reconciliation, tax/VAT compliance, and subscription lifecycle.

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate financial needs into technical product requirements.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
