About Home:

For millions of Americans, a home is more than just a place to live—it is their largest financial asset and biggest liability. However, managing home equity and mortgages remains opaque, stressful, and full of friction. The Home team is on a mission to change that. We are moving beyond a traditional marketplace to build a holistic Home financial experience. We leverage Credit Karma’s massive data scale and the power of Generative AI to act as an always-on financial coach, helping members know exactly when to refinance, how to tap into equity, and how to optimize their long-term financial health without the headache of doing the math themselves.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and innovative Senior Product Manager to lead our long-term engagement strategy within the Home vertical. In this role, you will own the Home hub experience—the central place where homeowners track their property value, equity, and mortgage health. You will be responsible for transforming this surface from a static dashboard into a proactive, AI-powered engine that provides personalized "next best actions" and readiness scores. You will bridge the gap between a member’s home and their broader financial picture, driving retention and helping members unlock significant savings.

Why you’ll love the role

  • Growth: The Home business is experiencing explosive growth and we are actively growing the team to improve and expand our product portfolio
  • Build 0-to-1 with AI: You will spearhead the integration of Generative AI to demystify complex mortgage math, turning confusion into clear, personalized financial guidance.
  • Impact at Scale: You will build products that serve our massive member base of more than 100 million members, helping everyday Americans save thousands of dollars on their mortgages.
  • High Visibility: Home is a high-growth bet for Credit Karma. You will work directly with senior leadership to define the future of how people manage their largest asset.
  • Team Culture: Operate with the speed and autonomy of a small team while leveraging the resources and data advantage of a major fintech leader.

What you'll do:

  • Simplify Complexity: Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and Design to build "Done-for-You" experiences that automate the heavy lifting of applications and eligibility checks, providing members with upfront certainty rather than estimated guesses.
  • Evolve the Strategy: Define and prioritize the Home Engagement product roadmap, making data-driven decisions to enhance user experience and engagement.
  • Strategic Communication: Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Execute & Iterate: Lead the full product lifecycle from discovery to launch. Use rigorous A/B testing and user research to validate hypotheses and drive engagement KPIs.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and data analytics, to create and launch innovative home products and features.
  • Grow the Business: Monitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and implement strategies to achieve business goals and KPIs.
  • Research & Innovate: Collaboration on market research and analyze user feedback to identify opportunities for new home products and enhancements to existing offerings.

What's great about the role:

  • You will solve one of the hardest problems in consumer finance: timing the market. By building tools that answer "Is this worth it for me?", you provide tangible peace of mind.
  • You will have the rare chance to work on a product that blends hard financial data (credit, income, property value) with consumer psychology.
  • You will be part of a team tasked with fundamentally disrupting legacy mortgage industries by prioritizing transparency and member advocacy.

What we are looking for:

  • 4+ years of product management experience, preferably consumer focused; home and/or fintech experience a plus

What we'd love to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing digital consumer products
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Deep understanding of user experience principles and product design, specifically for home products
  • Grit, agility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Passion for financial technology and empowering individuals to improve their financial health through innovative home solutions
